Directions: Steep one tea bag (we used berry for the taste and color) and let cool to room temperature. Add one ounce cranberry pomegranate juice, one teaspoon Raw Fir Honey and stir, making sure to dissolve the honey. Top with pomegranate seeds for an unexpected touch!

Easy No-Bake Key Lime Bites with Wild Rata Honey

I’m not much of a baker — all the precise measurements and exactitude of baking scare me. I’m much more of a taste-as-you-go cook, adding spices and mixing until I get it right. That’s why I was so pleasantly surprised to find this recipe for Easy No-Bake Key Lime Bites; no baking means easy preparation during busy summertime days and few ingredients makes this recipe appropriate for even the most novice dessert-maker (like me). These tasty, simple bites are perfect for your next outdoor get-together! Best part is, no baking means a cool house on a hot summer day! Pair them with our Rata Berry Cocktail for a refreshing new take on barbecue-worthy treats. #summerhoneylove

Key Lime 9

Directions:

 For the crust…

4 tablespoons of coconut flour

1 tablespoon of honey

1 to 2 tablespoons of water

Pinch of Himalayan sea salt

1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon

-Divided into 10 servings into cupcake molds bake for 10 to 12 minutes at 350°

For the pie filling:

4 ounces of plain Greek yogurt

198 g or 6 tablespoons organic cream cheese or silken tofu if you want it to be vegan

2 tablespoons of Wedderspoon Raw Wild Rata Honey

6 tablespoons of Keylime juice

Zest of a lime

1/4 of a teaspoon of vanilla extract

Pinch of Himalayan sea salt

1/4 cup of organic sugar optional

Coconut extract also optional

-Mix all of the ingredients together and divide into cooled cupcake molds freeze until ready to serve

For our second installment of #summerhoneylove, we concocted a refreshing take on an old classic – the margarita. Without the added sugar and calories of triple sec and margarita mix, we instead poured fresh lime juice, juicy watermelon and a spoonful of our 100% Raw Wild Rata honey (for a touch of sweetness) into our blender and voila! The seriously tasty Wedderspoon Rata-infused Watermelon Margarita was born. Try yours with mint ice cubes (recipe here) for an added boost of summer flavor.

Seedless organic watermelon

Freshly squeezed organic lime juice ( use about 6-8 limes for a half cup)

Mint ice or water

Your choice of tequila

With cold and flu season in full swing, we wanted to offer up our best health-inducing detox drink to help keep you feeling your best this time of the year! Each ingredient has been chosen for its unique therapeutic properties and functions in synergy with the other components to create this delicious drink.

As an antibacterial and anti fungal element, garlic has been used for centuries to promote natural healing while lemon boasts immune boosting powers and cleanses the liver. Raw apple cider vinegar, the kind with the ‘mother’, is full of probiotics and other beneficial bacteria and can help support immune function, cite the professionals at WebMd. Cayenne pepper aids in digestion and stimulates the digestive tract, increasing the body’s ability to metabolize food and toxins. Raw Honey Garlic Lemon Shots

Ingredients and Method:

Juice of half a lemon (preferably organic)

1-2 cloves of garlic (depends on size of cloves)

1/8 teaspoon of cayenne pepper (one pinch)

1 tablespoon of honey (we loved using our newest Manuka Blend!)

1 tablespoon raw apple cider vinegar

Detox Drink 1

Step 1 – Cut a lemon into halves.

Step 2 – Squeeze all the lemon juice out of one half and place the juice in a small bowl. Keep the other half for later use if necessary!

Step 3 – Chop the garlic and it let it sit for at least 10 minutes. Then add it to the lemon juice with the cayenne pepper and apple cider vinegar.

Step 4 – Add the honey to the mix and stir all ingredients well.

Consume the finished product in its entirety. Repeat recipe in 4 hours with the other lemon half.
